Canadian soprano, Emily Vondrejsová has earned her Opera Diploma and BMus of Vocal Performance at Wilfrid Laurier University. There, she studied with Canadian soprano Leslie Fagan and vocal coaches Anna Ronai and Lorin Shalanko. During her studies Emily was the recipient of the WLU Alumni Choir Voice Performance Scholarship (2020) and the Maureen Forrester Award (2019). Some of her roles with Opera Laurier include: Blanche from Dialogues des Carmélites, Cendrillon from Cendrillon, and Mrs. Jenks from The Tender Land. This Summer, Emily was chosen as a laureate for Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques 2021 with Théatre Lyrichorégra 20. Aside from her musical aspirations, Emily enjoys exploring and hiking nearby trails with her dog in their hometown of Erin, Ontario.
