Armed with a versatility of creative interests ranging from literature to fashion, cellist Peter Eom (pronounced “aw-m”) has been hailed for his “flowing, lyrical quality of sound” and “agility, purity of intonation, and sureness of taste” (Harald Eggebrecht, Süddeutsche Zeitung, 2022).

He is also the cellist of the Rolston String Quartet, rst prize winner of the 12th Ban International String Quartet Competition and heralded as “one of the very best in a quartet-rich age.” Eom has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, Koerner Hall, Allerheiligen-Hofkirche, Helsinki Musiikkitalo, and Seoul Arts Center and has taught at institutions including Duke University, Northwestern University, the Royal Conservatory of Music at Toronto, University of Texas at Austin, and Yale University.
